Re:membering Education believes that at the heart of education is how we help young people make connections between their own experience and the curriculum. This means both valuing and looking more closely at what students learn from their experiences as well as what they learn about. It means asking ourselves how we teach as well as what we teach. Above all it means looking at ‘relationship’ in its broadest sense.

Of course, creative and imaginative teachers already know this and are grappling with these issues in their daily work. Re:membering Education exists to help them hold on to this bigger picture, to draw on their practical wisdom and to bring it to the attention of policy makers so that together we can give shape to a holistic education which reflects the needs of young people.
