“Learning is experience: everything else is just information”

Re:membering Education is shifting its attention to the neglected area of experiential learning in a personalised curriculum. If you have a feeling that our students want more first hand experiences in the real world; or if you are currently working in some way with learning styles especially for kinaesthetic learners, we need to hear from you. We plan to make a DVD programme of some excellent practice this summer. Before that, though, with generous funding from the Esmee Fairbairn and the Gulbenkian Foundations, we are holding a two- day symposium on embodied learning at Hawkwood College, Gloucestershire in early June.
Whether you are working with reception on sensory development or with teenagers on bodily learning or taking them out into the ‘real’ world, we want to hear from you soon so that we can allocate the 20 remaining places.
